<<Without being conscious of it, the cave-man who drew the border of his open hand, was a platonic ante litteram: he just found out a mean of representation of the real which could be recollected in every moment. The image coincided with the border of the model, taken by the direct contact with the surface. This image, invisibile as long as the model lied on the surface, was discovered only once removed. Only in that moment it gained sense: like a photography, it revealed for contrast the original presence of the model which disappearing, spread the recollection of its own image.>>
